Lucy Pinder was born on December 20, 1983 in Winchester, Hampshire. In summer 2003, the 20-year-old Pinder agreed on a spontaneous photoshoot by a freelance photographer, who saw her sunbathing on Bournemouth beach. The set of photos led to a professional modeling contract with the Daily Star. Since then, Lucy Pinder has graced the covers of magazines, such as Fast Car, Redline, Nuts, Maxim, Loaded, Ice, ZOO and Carnoisseur.
Lucy Pinder has also appeared on TV advertisements for the National Lottery, the Yellow Pages and PlayStation 2 and has worked with other big names in the fashion industry such as Jana Defi, Michelle Marsh, Lindsey Strutt, Saskia-Howard-Clarke, Sophie Howard and Danielle Lloyd, among others. When not working as a model, Lucy writes on a Nuts magazine weekly column called “The Truth about Women.”
Aside from modeling, Lucy Pinder also began her television career in mid-2000, starting with an appearance on “Dream Team” in 2004. That same year, she also appeared on the Living TV show “I’m Famous and Frightened.” On December 2005, Lucy Pinder joined Sky Sports’ “Soccer AM” as a celebrity soccer player, wearing a Southampton jersey. The following year, she made a guest appearance on “Bo! In the USA.”
In 2007, Lucy Pinder joined the “Wags and Glamour Girls” edition of “Weakest Link.” That same year, she appeared on the TV special “Greatest Ever Disaster Movies” and became a host for the Nuts TV nightly programme entitled “Book at Bedtime with Lucy Pinder,” where she reads a passage from various well-known novels each day for 30 episodes. In 2008, Lucy Pinder made a guest appearance on the BBC1 TV series “Hotel Babylon” and served as a presenter for the Nuts TV’s live show and its other shows such as “Overexposed” and “Make me a Glamour Model.” Also in 2008, Pinder worked alongside Kayleigh Pearson in the TMF show “Pinder and Pearson’s Late Night Love-in,” an MTV channel countdown of hot music videos.”
Lucy Pinder joined the sixth series of UK’s “Celebrity Big Brother in 2009, but was the first housemate voted out of the show after declaring that she’s distracted with a fellow housemate’s “incessant rapping.” In 2010, she appeared on the BBC3 TV show “The Real Hustle Undercover,” playing a con artist named Nicole.
When not working as a model or actress, Lucy Pinder creates original works of art, which she puts up for sale in charity auctions to support the causes of Sports for All and Keech Hospice Care. She is also an ambassador of Kick 4 Life.
